Inventory Control Warehouse Lead

Schedule: Monday-Friday, with weekend availability as needed
Hours: 6:00 AM-3:30 PM
Pay: Up to $25/hour

We are seeking a dependable and hands-on Inventory Control Warehouse Lead to join a fast-paced food and beverage catering operation. This position is ideal for a strong team player who enjoys staying organized, keeping inventory accurate, and working alongside the warehouse team to ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support daily warehouse and inventory control activities.
  • Receive incoming food, beverage, supplies, and equipment and verify quantities for accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Track incoming and outgoing products and update inventory records as needed.
  • Organize warehouse, storage, cooler, and freezer areas to ensure products are properly stored and easy to locate.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages, discrepancies, or damaged products.
  • Assist with pulling, staging, and preparing inventory for catering orders and upcoming events.
  • Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards throughout warehouse and storage areas.
  • Delegate daily tasks and work alongside team members to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, kitchen, catering, and operations teams regarding inventory needs.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and catering supplies.
  • Follow company safety procedures and proper food handling/storage guidelines.
  • Be flexible and willing to assist with additional warehouse duties during high-volume periods.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or lead experience preferred.
  • Food and beverage, catering, hospitality, distribution, or similar industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize responsibilities, and help lead a team.
  • Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.
  • Comfortable working in refrigerated/freezer environments as needed.
  • Ability to lift, move, and organize inventory throughout the workday.
  • Reliable and punctual with weekend availability when business needs require it.
